Both the bright and spacious interior and the location in the heart of idyllic Grünwald make for an extremely pleasant visit. The chef concentrates his efforts on local and regional specialties, but the food is still fairly costly. The huge beer garden (with seating for 2,200) is a firm favorite with locals and one of the best in Munich. Traditional Bavarian fare and grilled fish dishes are sold from the barbecue. There is a play area for kids and the famous Bavaria film studios are close by.
