Pink walls somehow do not clash with red carpet here. It is all part of the serene retro-lounge effect. A large sign above the bar boasts "Service for the Sick". And indeed, the drinks are strong enough to cure what ails you, or at to least help you forget whatever needs forgetting! Other diversions include Marilyn Monroe movies on the TV and Sinatra playing on the jukebox. Folks from all walks of life start to feel better here.
