Former web designer Kelli Bernard, created her Amai Tea and Bake house with the intention of giving people in the neighborhood a cozy spot to come together and linger over a pot of tea. Her small but homey tea salon serves nearly 45 varieties of teas from all over the world including many black, white and green teas from India, China, Japan and Sri Lanka. To accompany these compelling brews, the tea house also serves a variety of delicious tea inspired sweets like Green Tea Cup Cakes, Matcha and Earl Grey Scones, Steamed Green Tea Muffins, Chai Puddings and a wide array of delectable tea cookies which come in flavors like Green Tea, Chai Almond and Lemon grass and Ginger.
