The Charly is a bar in the heart of the old part of the city, under the arches in the Plaza Nueva. You can try all kinds of combo platters or fast food sitting outside on the terrace, watching the world go by. The bar offers all kinds of shellfish and its main dishes are 'rabas' (fried strips of squid or cuttlefish), tigers (mussels in spicy tomato sauce), and octopus. Its specialty is Fideua, a delicious dish made in the same way as paella, but with noodles.
