You will find this small, open restaurant with wooden awnings just a 10 minute stroll along the Mekong River waterfront towards Wat Phiawat. The short menu offers standard Lao dishes of noodle soups, fried rice and fried noodles. Tables are set with condiments such as ginger, fish sauce, sugar and flaked chillies to add even more flavor to soups. Be careful of the fiery chilli sauce, as a few drops are usually enough for western palates. Just out of the busier central area, it is a simple place to enjoy a drink or a light meal.
