Engaged in entertaining the sophisticated crowd of Bay Area since 1986, BATS Improv is the largest theater company and school in the area. Involved in plays of all genres, although specializing in comedy—Improv provides workshops for amateur artists. Featuring a buzzing calendar of improvised musicals, plays and movies, audience participation and feedback is an integral part of the production. The company is not just about commercial acting—it also undertakes workshops on training and for people who suffer from AIDS, HIV, cancer and other diseases that threaten their very existence.
