Cinemas are thin on the ground in Haidhausen, but the Rio Palast on Rosenheimer Platz near the Gastieg Cultural Centre has been pulling in the crowds for years. The bill incorporates a variety of mainstream cinema plus some more challenging titles (especially during the Munich Film Weeks).
