The renovated Bio Rex in the Lasipalatsi (Glass Palace) complex is one of the undisputed centers of culture in city, where locals and tourists alike often find themselves. Nowadays Bio Rex is an art house theater, screening classics and arty films from around the world. It is also one of the venues for the Helsinki International Film Festival, Love and Anarchy, which takes place every September. The complex also houses the studios of the Finnish public broadcasting corporation YLE and the commercial broadcasting company MTV3, as well as a restaurant, several cafés, small shops and an Internet café. Art exhibitions are also a common sight at Lasipalatsi.
