For over sixty years, San Francisco Bach Choir has been celebrating the choral music of Johann Sebastian Bach. The repertoire sometimes includes other composers from as early as the 15th and as late as the 18th century. Period instruments are used in order to render as authentic a recreation as possible of how the music originally sounded. The organization is also dedicated to re-discovering "lost" music, performing some pieces not heard for hundreds of years.
