Off the beaten path, this small, black box theater The Company of Angles is the oldest repertory theatre in Los Angeles. Founded in 1959, it has garnered awards from many local theater publications and organizations. The original Hollywood theater burned down in 1988, and the company reopened in the laid-back Silverlake area the next year on New Year's Day. Now they have relocated to The Alexandria Hotel.
