One of the oldest and most elegant theaters in the capital. Constructed in 1727 by the Capranica family, it has always played a part in Rome's cultural life. Plays have been performed here since the beginning of the 20th Century and since 1968, E.T.I Valle has become the property of the Italian Theater Company. The repertoire is one of the most varied and interesting in Rome and there are classic productions with a modern twist. International plays in original languages are performed between the months of October and November, during the famous 'Autumn Festival'.
