Located between Union Square and Nob Hill, the Marines Memorial Theatre has been an important San Francisco performance hall since its construction in 1926. This 650-seat venue has hosted notable productions of Arthur Miller's The Crucible, Eugene O'Neill's Long Day's Journey into Night, Tenessee Williams' Camino Real, and many other popular shows over its lengthy history. Originally home to national radio broadcasts featuring the likes of Bob Hope, and Bing Crosby, the Marines Memorial Theatre has also harbored groups such as the Actor's Workshop and the American Conservatory Theatre.
