The Actor's Playpen is one of the newest venues in Los Angeles for student theater productions and rehearsals. Several theater groups perform here regularly. The theater houses 50 guests and can be used for a variety of theater-related events besides performances, like dramatic readings, discussions, film screenings and so on. The dressing rooms and technical facilities are also good and an absolute boon for upcoming groups and students who cannot afford the rental elsewhere in Los Angeles. That is, in fact, the basic aim of the Actors Playpen. Acting classes are also held in its premises.
