The John Anson Ford Theater complex houses two theaters: a 1,230-seat outdoor amphitheater and an 87-seat indoor space. One of the best outdoor venues in L.A., this intimate amphitheater is set into a hillside directly across from the Hollywood Bowl. Surrounded by lush greenery and cypress trees, audiences can enjoy a variety of family entertainment during the summer months (May to September). The theatre is host to the "Summer Nights at the Ford" series, sponsored by the Los Angeles County Arts Commission.
