Don't be fooled by the decor
Yes, I suppose they've decorated it well - but avoid this overpriced place if you like even mediocre food...I've never paid more for such a lousy meal. The 'cocktails' are supposed to be the big draw here - cutesy names, but they're pretty lousy...I think they use inferior brands in expensive bottles. The unfriendly American owner is a class 'A' snob and this attitude rubs off on the slow staff and in the general atmosphere. He wants only the "best" clientele in his establishment. If you're in PV and you're dying for a taste of urbanity while on your low key beach vacation, there are other places far better for food, cocktails and service - try the other side of the river...every bit as pretty and more worth your money.

Not very good
Pretty decor - but off-putting attitude. The food - and that of everybody I was with - was pretty bad. Tough meat etc. Not worth the high prices. And I agree with the other opinions - the owner is rude and pretentious.

Like Nowhere Else!
Great cocktails, great food, and a charming host! Joel Grey (the host of the Kit Kat in "Cabaret") he is not, but he knows how to work the room! We came in as visitors and left as friends. Our host introduced us to his other friends and we had a blast. we did not go for the food, but we'll return for it and the rest of the show. I understand that it is related to the Kit Kat in Chicago (which is why we went) but this was a different experience altogther. Delightful.
