Specializing in modern Chinese cuisine, My Humble House Tokyo will sweep you off your feet with its gorgeous setting, live music, and fantastic food. The sprawling restaurant has a main hall, a music area, a lounge area, and a private room, all dimly lit and plushly furnished in dark browns and golds. The food is delicious and beautifully plated. Scallops come coated in black sesame seeds and topped with a white sesame sauce, prawns come crisply fried with Wasabi mayo and a chili mango dipping sauce. The setting and food alone would lead you to believe MHHT would be painful on your wallet, but in fact, the prices here are extremely humble, all things considered, with most appetizers under 2000JPY and most entrees under 3000JPY. There is also a fixed price menu available for groups of three or more. Reservations are highly recommended.
