Greyhound racing has been run here since 1932, when the Trust permitted the 'Tin Hare Association' to conduct regular races. The modern 5,000 seat grandstand is well serviced with bars, a bistro and a cafe. Private function rooms provide panoramic views of the racing and first class catering and service. There is a TAB and on-course bookmakers for the ten races per night. Greyhound Clubs run major events such as the New Year Trophy, National Derby in February and the AWA Summer Cup at 'Wenty dogs'.
