Been going for 18 years
Massive collection of art. There is so much to see that you have to keep going back to see it. Very cheap entertainment. Awesome movies shown in the theatre at night.

DIA
This is one of my favorite musuems in the country. I spent many many hours there as a teenager and enjoyed my visit. The art exhibits are fabulous...modern art to historic Roman art.

Among the best
Beautiful buidling with a great art collection. One of the top 10 largest in the world I believe. Attached is the historic Detroit Film Theatre with many interesting offerings. Across the street is the Detroit Public Library Main Branch--another fine building. This area, the DIA very much included, gives a great taste of Detroit's culture and architecture. Two blocks west is Wayne State University's Central Mall.
