Darling Harbour offers tourists a trendy blend of shopping, eating and entertainment opportunities. The Harbourside Shopping Centre houses many upmarket retail outlets, selling souvenirs, jewellery, fashions, and home wares. There is a food court and some expensive restaurants boasting modern dining and harbour views. In contrast, a walk through Tumbalong Park brings you to the hustle and bustle of Chinatown and Haymarket. On the corner of Thomas and Hay Streets is the huge Market City complex, on the ground floor of which is Paddy’s Market, Sydney’s oldest market.
