The Contemporary Art Institute of Detroit or CAID, as it is usually called, is one of the major landmarks of Detroit. The Art institute catalogues various art workshops, art exhibitions, art galleries and various other art events stressing on modernizing art. It is famous for organizing various contemporary music and art festivals, bringing together a lot of world-renowned artists and maestros and featuring live performances by them. Its graffiti art show called 'Off Da Wall' showcases some brilliant artworks by its artists.
