The Collegio Venturoli, in Via Cento Trecento, was once the home of the Collegio Illirico Ungarico (in the 16th Century) and housed Croat students who came to Bologna from their country of origin to study at Europe's oldest university. It was rebuilt in the 18th Century and a courtyard with a double open gallery was added to the main body of the building. The interiors were decorated with frescoes by Pizzoli.
