If you take the South side of Cerro El Avila you will find the Boyacá motorway or Cota Mil, which gets its name due to its great height (1000 meters above sea level). It is a modern and fast road that joins the two ends of the Caracas valley. The road has beautiful scenery and panoramic views of the city. The exits are the following, starting from West to East: Avenida Baralt, San Bernardino-Sarriá, Maripérez, Alta Florida, La Castellana, Altamira, Sebucán, Boleíta and El Marqués.
