This zoo is the home of more than 200 animal species and 150 species of plants. Divided into various areas, it is recommended that you arrive early, for it takes about three hours to cover it completely. It has an aquarium, an aviary and a reptile area. There is also a library, a cafeteria, a picnic area and restaurants. Admission is 8 pesos per child and 15 per adult. Parking is available. It is about an hour and a half away from Mexico City if you take the highway to Toluca. There are signs along the way.
