This small synagogue is perfect for families with young children. During services, the mechitza (divider between men and women) runs down the middle and some women wear kippot and talitot. On some Shabbatot, women hold a special reading of the Torah separate from the main service. While the adults pray inside, their children participate in children's service or play in the nearby park. The congregation is welcoming to guests and it is possible to be invited to a family’s house for Shabbat dinner as well as lunch.
