Lannesdorf lies south of Bad Godesberg and has maintained its village-like character till today. Apart from the lovely half-timbered houses, you can visit the quarter's landmark, the so-called Pömpchen, from which fresh water flows. The most magnificent sight in Lannesdorf is without doubt the König Fahad Academy, which opened in 1995. Since then, around 1,000 schoolchildren have visited the building every day and can be recognised by their green school uniforms.
