Mu'ath Bin Jabal Mosque is located in the heart of the Yemeni quarter of central Detroit. What was once a church and a school, has now become the abode of prayers and Quranic chants. The area developed leaps and bounds with the real estate boom of the '70s, which saw a lot of Yemeni immigrants settling here. And they found solace in this prayer hall.
