Mu'ath Bin Jabal Mosque is located in the heart of the Yemeni quarter of central Detroit. What was once a church and a school, has now become the abode of prayers and Quranic chants. The area developed leaps and bounds with the real estate boom of the '70s, which saw a lot of Yemeni immigrants settling here. And they found solace in this prayer hall. Call them for more details about prayer timings and other activities. The mosque is close by from traditional Yemeni eateries and restaurants, selling fresh breads and delicious dishes that are hard to resist!
