Wali Muhammad Mosque is the oldest place of worship of the African American Muslim community. The two-storey building was once a Jewish center, today it has a prayer hall on the top and houses a kitchen and a computer room on the ground floor. The mosque is also a center of fundraising for education and betterment of the community, as well as sponsoring local soup kitchens. Open five times a day for prayers, visitors are always welcome. Call them for more details.
