The entire San Francisco Bay Area literary and publishing scene comes together under one roof at one time. This two-day Autumn event includes panel discussions about all things books, author readings, cooking demonstrations by cookbook authors and story time by the authors of childrens books. It is also a good place to check out both the latest in multimedia publishing and the art of binding books the old-fashioned way. Most of the area's bookstores (new, used, and antiquarian) have booths here, too, as do publishing houses, and even autograph dealers.
