Only the youth may participate in the Young at Art Festival, but all are welcome to enjoy it! Visual art comes alive at the de Young Museum each year, when students from all over San Francisco bring out their creative productions. The categories—painting, drawing, graphic art, media art, puppetry, sculpture, photography, ceramics, glass, textile, animation, film and video production —create a brilliant canvas of incredible talent. The festival is judged by a panel of local pros that confers the coveted Bronze, Silver or Gold Key Award to aspiring artists.
