The Opera Festival is unarguably the most important event in Munich's musical calendar and attracts visitors from all over the world. The one-month-long festival is comprised of about 70 different performances ranging from operas to classical concerts and chanson evenings. Venues include the Nationaltheater, Prinzregententheater and Cuvillés-Theater. Most performances sell out months in advance, so it is wise to order tickets as early as possible.
