Every year a traditional offering for the Day of the Dead (November 2) in one of the most traditional areas of the city. Xochimilco dresses its best and the Dolores Omedo Patiño museum presents an offering dressed in yellow flowers, the aromas of incense and dishes characteristic of the season such as pumpkin in molasses and buñuelos(sweetened fried wheat flour tortillas.
