Every year in the month of November, the Day of the Dead is celebrated in Mixquic. It is a religious celebration, solemn as well as popular, that includes masses, offerings in the cemetery, music and dances. A variety of food items and flowers is on offer. This is a great opportunity for you to enjoy true Mexican culture with its cuisine and vibrant performing arts. Parking is available at the foot of the hill. You can also carry flat shoes, umbrellas or hats for your convenience. It is wise to exclude children under 4 years from attending this festival. Also avoid carrying valuable objects.
