A beautiful building—Mechanic's Institute Library has striking ironwork in it's interiors and has comfortable leather chairs. A membership is required and members can borrow books, use the chess room and be a part of the numerous literary events throughout the year. Most members are found spending hours together browsing through the huge collection of books and a fairly large amount of CD's and DVD's. Also find a lot of research articles, reference material, rare editions and books on varied subjects. Be it an important assignment or exam, you're sure to find the right books at the library.
