This the oldest film festival in the world whose focus is on the Jewish experience. Every film in this eight day summertime film festival has some connection to what it means to be culturally Jewish. Not all deal with religion however, some recent ones from Israel, in particular, have had a decidedly secular cast to them. All who attend will find something here to surprise, delight and perhaps, provoke them. Screenings take place at the Castro Theater, as well as venues in Berkeley, San Rafael, and Menlo Park.
