At this event, the capitol building and grounds as well as downtown Carson City will come alive with the twinkling of holiday lights. Carson City has been the capitol of Nevada for more than 140 years. The lighting of the capitol’s Christmas tree at 5:30p will kick off an evening of caroling, complimentary snacks and a visit from Santa Claus. This free event is a great place for the entire family to sing their favorite holiday songs together.
