For years, San Francisco Oyster Fest has celebrated three great elements of San Francisco's heritage—oysters, beer and music. Upon Fort Mason's hilly lawn, revelers from all walks of life slurp oysters, wash them down with pints of Smithwick's, and then burn it all off pumping their fists to shout-along choruses by punk rockers like the Dropkick Murphys, or dancing the afternoon away to the subtle sounds of AM-gold revivalists such as She & Him.
