This festival, held over two days and featuring a dragon boat race and other activities, is held in the eighth or ninth month of the Chinese lunar calendar, falling in September or October. Dozens of teams participate, rowing dragon boats over a stretch of 500 meters. Others head here to view the traditional dances and martial art demonstrations, sample the tasty Chinese food, buy handicrafts, and avail one's self of the various massage and acupuncture treatments.
