Founded in 1899, Cardiff City Football Club, also known as the Bluebirds, joined the league in 1920 and claimed the FA cup for the first time in 1927. Promoted to a Division II ranking in 1998-99, there are regular home fixtures at Ninian Park throughout the season. The park has its own train link from the city centre, and there are facilities for families and the disabled, including a families-only terrace. Season tickets are recommended to guarantee seating. Watch the Blue Birds play against Leicester City and Burnley away. Check the website for upcoming events and matches.
