This festival, held every September, introduces the Swedes to the practice of yoga, an Indian form of meditation. Activities include the singing of “bhajans (devotional songs), lectures on ayurveda and yoga, and teaching of various yoga postures, whirling, and qi gong, which is a Chinese exercises for the muscles, spine and peace of mind.
