The Great Outdoors is a real outdoors shop - something which is actually quite hard to find in Dublin. It's a good place to buy serious camping and hiking gear, boots, Gore-tex jackets and fleeces. You will also find canoeing supplies, ski equipment, scuba-diving wet suits and more. The ski-wear department has a wide range of ski suits for hire. For scuba-diving, they provide a unique service whereby children's wet suits (in good condition) are accepted as part-exchange for bigger ones.
