The atmosphere here is, as you would expect, tranquil. The selection of books includes everything from the basics to subjects for advanced study in the Zen, Buddhist, and Pure Land traditions. In addition, there are supplies for setting up your own home altar with ritual objects such as dorje, as well as gift items including amulent and rosaries in various materials (Prices vary depending on material and craftsmanship). It is a wonderful spot to browse and to cleanse your mind of everyday cares. The staff is extremely gracious.
