The Nordic Watercolour Museum is a centre for contemporary art, studies and research with a focus on watercolour techniques. The museum is located in Skärhamn, on the western part of the island of Tjörn, 50 kilometres north of Gothenburg. The international and classic watercolour paintings are very beautiful. There is a permanent exhibition and also temporary ones. For researchers, there are special meeting rooms. For artistic work, studies and research, there is an experimental workshop with advanced technical equipment.
