This museum opened on 23 June 1993, in a building that carries the name of Venezuelan Olympic glory. The museum was a little late in arriving, considering Venezuela's dignified Olympic and international sporting history. Venezuela has most distinguished itself, in recent decades, in boxing (at a variety of weights), basketball, swimming and cycling. At this museum you can uncover a documented summary of the country's sporting history alongside art, sports clothes and equipment. Entrance is free.
