Being a lively tropical country, Venezuela expresses its many cultures in a variety of colorful ways. The technological aspect of communication, however, was slow to take off here, compared to other countries on the continent. Nevertheless, nowadays, Venezuela is at a most advanced level regarding audiovisual equipment and media. The history of the development of such advances can be studied in detail at the Audiovisual Museum, which boasts the largest and best documented audiovisual archive in the country.
