This is run by the East Bay Model Engineers Society, the oldest and largest clubs of its kind in the world. The club, founded in 1933, moved the museum to its Point Richmond location, across from the Miller Knox Regional Shoreline entrance, in 1985. You'll find a large, well-lit museum, filled with model trains from throughout time. The museum runs as a nonprofit business by the club and probably functions through the donation asked for admission. Cash only.
