This is a unique aviation museum set in a vintage hangar at the Oakland International Airport's historic North Field. Aviation lovers of all ages travel to the museum to see its collection of restored vintage aircrafts. Other celebrated exhibits include the "Flying Boat," a 1946 upgraded version of the famous World War II British Sunderland, and a Lockheed 10-A Electra, sister ship of Amelia Earhart's plane. You will also find other displays including a history of women in flight. The entrance fees are, adults: $7, seniors: $6, active military: $5, children (6-12): $3 and children under 5yrs and under are admitted free.
