It is quite possible that visitors to the exhibition halls at the Fine Art museum are unaware of the areas outside the building, which are dedicated to sculptures by renowned international artists. Everyone who studies or is interested in the presence of contemporary sculpture in Caracas should pay this important exhibition a visit. The garden and terrace house a number of magnificent pieces, partially donated by their sculptors. Donors include Alicia Penalba (Argentina), Sergio de Camargo (Brazil), Edgar Negret and Carlos Rojas (Colombia), Dan Graham and Alexander Calder (USA), Jacques Lipchitz (France), Kenneth Armitage (UK), alongside famous Venezuelan sculptors such as Alejandro Otero and Harry Abend. Entrance is free.
