One light filled room, Toomey-Tourell Gallery features contemporary works of artists from all over the world. You will find paintings that will feel explicit and mysterious at the same time. In its third year of operation, it is not shy about pushing the envelop of comfort. Nathaniel Price sculpts plastic translucent candy colored heads that are packed with brain numbing four inch nails. Many of these are commissioned pieces. The paintings on display are much less threatening but not any less serious.
