This gallery, located between the Lenbachhaus and Pinakothek in the museum district, was founded by Six Friedrich and Lisa Ungar in March 1998. It is a continuation of Heiner Friedrich's legendary sixties gallery (Richter, Palermo etc.) and Six Friedrich's galleries from the eighties. There are numerous exhibitions in this attic-style establishment including works by contemporary artists such as Walter Dahn, Bogomir Ecker, Stephan Huber, Imi Knoebel, Louise Lawler and Thomas Locher. The huge exhibition halls are probably the largest of any of Munich's galleries and are well-suited to large-format installations. The main emphasis is on contemporary art and is the perfect place to open your mind to new ideas.
