The paintings at Post Impressionist Gallery hearken back to an era of horse-drawn carriages and reading by candlelight. The walls display a vast array of street scenes, seascapes and still life in the Realist and Impressionist tradition. Testing your perception skill are some wonderful trompe l'oeil paintings as well. The gallery's burgundy carpet flows downstairs to reveal works by a Hungarian artist Bubarnik Guyula and Antoine Blanchard of France, just to name a couple.
